Power & Repair Costs

Operational costs are part of the mining process. These costs come in the form of power & repair costs. Power costs are deducted automatically after each block is mined, where as repair costs will be payable when a GPU needs repairing. These costs help to add further balance to our ecosystem as each is associated with MNB burning. Miners can reduce the frequency in which GPUs need repairing by upgrading the level of durability for each GPU. Similarly, miners can reduce their power costs by upgrading the efficiency level of each GPU. The standard power cost on a base GPU with no efficiency upgrades is 50% of mined MNB, while the standard repair frequency of a base GPU with no durability upgrades is once every 14 days.
